Braishfield Flower Arrangement Society

Affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies and the Wessex & Jersey Area of NAFAS

ABOUT US

We are a small and friendly club that enjoy all things flowers and are always very pleased to welcome new guests and members. There is no need to have ‘done flower arranging before’ just an interest in flowers and sharing the fun and friendship that brings.

Our monthly meetings are held on the 4 th Thursday of the month at 7.30 pm in All Saints Church Rooms, All Saints Church, Braishfield. (See directions below)

Our Members enjoy a varied programme with guest demonstrators from the Wessex & Jersey Area of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) who entertain us at many of our monthly meetings. Occasionally we have a speaker or maybe a practical evening workshop.

Membership is open to everyone – you don’t have to live in Braishfield. At present our Membership Fee is £40 per year with guests paying £8.00 per visit.

Each November we hold our Open Evening in the Village Hall. This is a popular annual fundraising event where we support the charity chosen by our members earlier in the year.

There are also other events during the year which we either organise ourselves or are
invited to participate in as part of the W&J Area of NAFAS.

The club also takes part in Braishfield Garden Club’s Annual Summer Show in July.
